Mission Statement
We Love Rock Fans Hall is created by fans to show their love and support for the
men and women who made the music that we grew up with and still love today.
All musicians from this era are eligible 20 years after the release of their first
recorded music. All musicians who hope to be eligible have to come from the
Rock genre, all other styles will not be considered unless they are included for
Enshrinement from a chosen artist ballot. The We Love Rock Fans Hall supports
the future generations of Rock musicians through programs such as School
of Rock and other like-minded organizations. Through our heartfelt tributes,
we aim to honor the extraordinary contributions of these iconic artists while
fostering a community that passionately embraces the spirit of rock n roll.
Together, we strive to preserve the magic and impact of this timeless genre,
ensuring that it continues to inspire and unite fans for generations to come.
If you were born in a certain period, you grew up living for the Music. My time was the 70’s and that music was ROCK!
We would turn on the FM radio before school, listen to records when you returned home. Once in the car with your buddies, it was 8-track tapes or cassettes in the player as soon as your butt hit the seat.
For me, most of my rides ended up at any one of the record stores located around town or watching live music any night of the week in local clubs. If we were lucky, bands such as Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, REO Speedwagon or a never-ending list of our heroes were in town for a live show.
These were the best of times…we thought they would never end but alas, time and change come to everyone.
What these thoughts are about is we don’t have to give up our heroes. We can still listen to the music and honor the men and women who created all these special times we had back then. We are all a little older now and we have lost so many along this journey. What we are creating here is a community where we can continue to celebrate the music and the good times we had back then and continue into today.
I was one of the lucky ones as 20-some years ago one of my real-life heroes walked into my life and a chance meeting turned into a friendship and then a real working relationship.
This world is filled with fans like me who have their own stories and would love a place to honor our heroes. A place that’s a true tribute to them and the music they made and that’s what we are going to give you.
A place that is not associated with corporate greed, a place not associated with popular trends, a place where we can say loud and proud, WE LOVE ROCK.
