F A N V O T I N G P R O C E D U R E S
It will be important to the process to get the nominated artists’ opinion and/or feedback on nomination/induction to the hall.
For our inaugural 2025 Class, we will include a Fan Ballot selected by our Executive board, as well as an Artist Ballot also selected by the board. Also, included in the ballot is a selection field for the Fan’s favorite artist or category. The board will select several Fan Ballots and include the favorite artist(s) or category (one selection only) chosen by the fan as their choice from their ballot for induction.
Beginning with the 2026 class, the standard ballot selection process will be followed (see Nomination Process for details). We will keep this site updated with any news involving the nomination process. Without your input (and the artist’s) our mission cannot be fulfilled.
In closing, if you are wondering how this has come about, it is about a man in his sixties who has loved everything about Rock music since he was 12 years old. This man has watched as a different organization has told us what “they” think rock music is. Our opinions are just as important as theirs so we are making a place where we can share them proudly. I believe in this so much that my Fan’s Ballot will also be included in the first nominated class and cannot wait until the world knows we are here.

ALL FAN VOTES will be counted from the preliminary vote. All Fans can vote once per week and are allowed to vote the same ballot or a different one whichever is preferred.

A SEMI-FINAL VOTE will occur for the top ten nominees that come out of the preliminary vote: one in each category. (All Fans can vote once per week and are allowed to vote the same ballot or a different one whichever is preferred.)

A FINAL VOTE will occur with the top six nominees from the semi-final vote in each category. The top two nominees from each category will be inducted into the “We Love Rock Fans Hall.” from the Fans vote. (All Fans can vote once per week and are allowed to vote the same ballot or a different one whichever is preferred.)

FROM EACH YEARLY VOTING CYCLE, one Fans Ballot and 1 Artist Ballot will be chosen to have their entire ballot enshrined. Their name will also be included in the enshrinement.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE can choose to allow special guests to vote and have their entire ballot enshrined or just certain categories enshrined again with their names included with those enshrinements.

ANY VOTER who chooses to buy the yearly membership to the We Love Rock Fans Hall can vote three times in each of the weekly votes in the preliminary round. They can vote the same ballot three times or vote three different ballots or one ballot twice, then a single ballot once.

THE SAME PROCEDURE as described in #6 will be followed in both the semi final and final round vote except with the yearly fan membership you can vote twice in each weekly vote in both the semi-final and final vote.

WE LOVE ROCK FANS HALL HERO’S AWARD, if there are not ten clear vote leaders after the preliminary vote a committee headed by an executive board member will review Fans votes and choose the remaining nominees to advance to the semifinal round.
